If credit cards are not available to you, please consider konbini payments, bank transfer, Pay-easy, or Paidy.
Can an overseas corporation apply for PayPay, Merpay, or other smartphone payments?
Not without a Japanese corporation. The only payment methods you can apply for are konbini payments (FamilyMart / Lawson / Ministop / Daily Yamazaki / Seicomart), bank transfer, Pay-easy, and Paidy.
Does registering a Japanese branch or appointing a tax representative meet the requirement?
No. Credit card payments require establishment and a contract as a Japanese corporation.
Can I use the overseas corporation's name as the "Seller" under the Specified Commercial Transactions Act?
