Whether a payment method appears at checkout is controlled either by the toggle on the "Payment Method Settings" page, or by linking it to a delivery method. You cannot disable a payment method itself from either the EC-CUBE or KOMOJU admin panel yourself.
About Bank Transfer
EC-CUBE also has a default [Bank Transfer] option built in.
If this is also enabled, [Bank Transfer] will appear twice on the checkout screen, which may confuse your customers. For this reason, if you plan to use KOMOJU's bank transfer payment method, we recommend disabling EC-CUBE's default bank transfer option.
How Display at Checkout Works
Each KOMOJU payment method is registered as a separate payment option in EC-CUBE. Whether it appears at checkout depends on three factors:
- Whether it's enabled on your KOMOJU account: the payment methods shown depend on which methods are enabled in your KOMOJU account
- Whether it's linked to a delivery method: if a KOMOJU payment method is not linked to any delivery method, it will not appear as an option at checkout — even if it is enabled in the plugin settings
- Whether it's set to visible on the "Payment Method Settings" page: a payment method set to hidden via the toggle on this page will not appear at checkout — even if it is linked to a delivery method (the "Payment Method Settings" setting takes priority)
Syncing Payment Methods (Fetching Methods Enabled on KOMOJU)
- In your EC-CUBE admin panel, navigate to KOMOJU Payment → Settings
- Click Refresh payment methods
- The plugin will fetch your available payment methods from your KOMOJU account and display them as badges on the settings page
Linking Payment Methods to Delivery Methods (Display Control in EC-CUBE)
For customers to see a payment method at checkout, it must be linked to at least one delivery method.
- Navigate to Settings → Store Settings → Delivery settings
- Edit each delivery method and ensure the KOMOJU payment methods are checked under the available payment options
- Save the delivery method settings
Hiding a Payment Method Directly (Payment Method Settings Page)
On EC-CUBE's "Payment Method Settings" page, you can toggle each payment method's visibility directly, without changing its link to any delivery method.
- Navigate to Settings → Store Settings → Payment Method Settings
- Click the toggle icon (tooltip shows "Hidden | Show") next to the relevant KOMOJU payment method
- The toggle switches state, and the change is reflected in checkout visibility
If You Just Want to Hide a Payment Method
If you only want to stop showing a payment method at checkout, you can either hide it using the toggle on the "Payment Method Settings" page, or remove its link to a delivery method as described above. Both are done entirely within the EC-CUBE admin panel — no need to contact KOMOJU.
