Why we cannot disclose the list (names and email addresses)
The leaked information was either provided with the individual's consent or obtained and managed directly from the individual by KOMOJU, as a business operator handling personal information. Under Article 27 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (restrictions on provision to third parties), we cannot provide merchants with a list of names, email addresses, or other details of affected individuals without their consent.
How many of our customers are affected?
We do not provide the number of affected individuals for each merchant. We also cannot tell you whether any of your customers are included, a breakdown by store, or the period covered, as this constitutes personal information (whether you operate a single store or multiple stores). We do not provide a list of affected individuals or report further details at a later date. For the overall number, please see below.
Has the number of affected people been announced?
We are still identifying the number of people affected by the leak of inquiry records (CRM), and it has not been announced at this time. We will announce any new information on our official website. The approximately 4,100 cases announced in our first report relate to Target System 1 (the KOMOJU payment system) and are counted separately from the leak of inquiry records from the CRM system in our second report. No list data, such as customer lists, or the entire CRM database is confirmed to have been taken.
