About Contactless Payments on the Terminal
When using contactless payments, a signature (not a PIN) may be required depending on the transaction amount or card-specific conditions.
- For standard credit cards (with no special conditions)
- A signature is required for transactions over ¥15,000.
- For cards with specific conditions set by the issuer
- The card’s own conditions will take priority and be applied accordingly.
※ Depending on buyer's card, a signature may be required even for lower amounts.
