When creating a payment link, you can set a payment frequency to collect recurring payments (subscriptions). Your customers will be charged automatically on each cycle.
Supported Payment Method
Recurring payments are only available with credit card payments.
If merchants are using other payment methods, subscription links will only display the credit card option.
Automatic Debit and Initial Charge
Recurring payments are processed as automatic debits.
The first charge will be made when the customer completes the initial payment.
Timing of Subsequent Charges
The initial charge is made on the day of the first payment, and subsequent charges are processed on the same day of each recurring cycle.
For example: If the initial payment is made on the 5th, the next charge will occur on the 5th of the following month, and then every month thereafter.
Shipping Address
The shipping information entered for the initial payment will be stored, so it will not be necessary to enter the shipping address again for subsequent charges.
Merchants can refer to the initial payment details for the customer’s shipping information if needed.
Cancellation (Termination)
To cancel a recurring payment, please follow these steps:
Go to the management screen and select Customer Information → Recurring Payments
Select the applicable subscription
Click Cancel
Note: Cancellations take effect immediately.
