How do I enable installment payments?
No special configuration is required on the merchant side. If Paidy is enabled in your KOMOJU account, customers can automatically select installment payments on the checkout screen.
How many installments are supported with Paidy?
Only 3-installment payments are supported.
If a customer’s payment is delayed, will it affect the merchant payout?
No, it will not affect the merchant’s payout. Regardless of the customer’s payment status or timing, funds will be transferred to the merchant according to the standard payout schedule. Paidy assumes the risk of non-payment. If the transaction status in KOMOJU is marked as “Captured,” the payment is 100% guaranteed.
What should I do if a customer receives a payment error?
In most cases, the customer did not pass Paidy’s credit screening. If the message “Your payment could not be authorized” appears on the checkout screen, possible reasons include:
- The customer has exceeded their spending limit.
- The customer has an outstanding balance with Paidy.
Neither we nor the merchant can view the specific reason for the error. Please advise the customer to contact Paidy Customer Support directly for further assistance.
How do I process a refund for a Paidy transaction?
Refunds can be processed through KOMOJU within 365 days of the transaction date. Please follow the steps below:
- Go to the “Transactions” page in the KOMOJU Admin Panel.
- Select the relevant transaction and click the “Refund” button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
- Enter the desired refund amount and click “Refund” to complete the process.
