On the Financial Summary page, you can view the total transaction amount, refund amount, processing fees, settlement amount, and bank transfer amount for your selected period, all in one place.
Opening the Financial Summary page
- Log in to the KOMOJU merchant dashboard.
- From the KOMOJU merchant dashboard, go to the Financial and select "Financial Summary"
Selecting the period and currency
Use the period selector at the top of the page to choose the period you want to check. The available periods are as follows:
- This Month
- Last Month
- Last 3 Months
- Custom
When you open the page, it defaults to showing the most recently closed settlement period.
If you use multiple currencies, you can switch between them using the currency tabs. Where currency tabs are shown, the displayed information changes according to the currency you select.
Understanding the summary cards
At the top of the page, five summary cards display an overview of the selected period.

| Transactions | Total amount captured from customers in this period. Based on transaction date. |
| Refunds | Total refunded to customers in this period. Based on transaction date. |
| Processing Fees | Komoju's fees for processing your payments. Calculated per transaction at capture time. |
| Settlements | Captures minus refunds, chargebacks and processing fees for this period. |
| Bank Transfers | Actual amount transferred to your bank account (Settlement amount minus bank transfer fees). |
About the numbers shown on the cards
The "Gross Transaction Amount" card shows "x transactions", the "Refunds" card shows "x refunds", and the "Processing Fees" card shows "Incl. ¥x tax".
Even for a period with ¥0 in refunds or processing fees, the card is still displayed, showing that no refunds or fees occurred during that period.
The "Bank Transfers" card changes depending on the progress of the settlement and transfer. If the transfer has been completed, the actual transferred amount and transfer date are shown; if not yet completed, an estimated amount and approximate date are shown.
Understanding the Transaction Summary
Below the summary cards, the "Transaction Summary" is displayed, showing a breakdown of the items related to the settlement for the selected period.
- Gross Transaction Amount: The total of all transaction amounts within the selected period. Always displayed.
- Refunds: The total of refunds (including chargebacks) within the selected period. Always displayed, shown as a negative value.
- Chargeback: The total of chargebacks within the selected period. Not displayed if the amount is ¥0. [To be confirmed: exact wording for the supplementary chargeback count display, e.g. number of disputes]
- Corrections: The correction amount that occurred within the selected period. Not displayed if the amount is ¥0.
- Net Transaction Amount: The amount calculated by subtracting refunds, chargebacks, and corrections from the gross transaction amount. Always displayed.
Understanding Fees & Others
"Fees & Others" shows a breakdown of the processing fees, consumption tax, and other amounts deducted from your transactions for the selected period. Rows with no applicable amount are not displayed.

For merchants on a weekly settlement cycle
For merchants who receive settlements weekly, a "Weekly Breakdown of Bank Transfers" section is displayed above the summary cards.
- One card is displayed for each week (Saturday through Friday) within the selected period.
- Each card prominently displays the bank transfer amount for that week.
- For weeks where the transfer has been completed, the transfer date is shown as "Paid out [Month] [Day]"; for weeks not yet transferred, "Pending" is displayed.
- Up to 8 cards are displayed; additional cards can be viewed by scrolling.
- Selecting a card takes you to the corresponding settlement details page.
