【EC-CUBE】Verifying Your Integration in Test Mode (Test Payments)

Switch the KOMOJU Dashboard to Test Mode, enter your test API keys in EC-CUBE, and place a test order to verify your integration.

The test card numbers listed on this page work only in KOMOJU's Test Mode. They cannot be used in Live Mode. If you want to verify your integration in Live Mode, use a real credit card instead.

Steps to Run a Test Payment

Step 1: Switch to Test Mode

  1. Switch the KOMOJU Dashboard to "Test Mode"
  2. Copy your Test Mode API credentials (Merchant ID, Secret Key, Publishable Key)
  3. Paste and save these values in the API Credentials card under KOMOJU Payment → Settings in your EC-CUBE admin panel

Step 2: Configure a Webhook for Test Mode

For test payment statuses to be reflected in EC-CUBE, a Test Mode webhook must be registered. Webhooks must be registered separately for Live Mode and Test Mode. See "Configuring Webhooks" for setup instructions.

Step 3: Place a Test Order

  • Open your store's checkout as a customer would and complete a payment
  • KOMOJU provides test simulation pages for most payment methods
  • For credit card testing, use the test card numbers listed below

Step 4: Verify in Both Dashboards

  • EC-CUBE Admin → Orders: confirm the order was created and its status updated
  • KOMOJU Dashboard → Payments: confirm the payment shows a completed or authorized status

Do You Need a Separate Test Mode Setting in EC-CUBE?

Based on the documented procedure, there is no separate setting in EC-CUBE to toggle test mode on its own. Switching to Test Mode is done entirely by entering your KOMOJU Test Mode API credentials into the API Credentials card.

Caution: Testing in Live Mode

Transactions created in Live Mode are subject to settlement fees, even if created for testing purposes. Even if a refund is processed later, all transactions once marked as "Paid" will still incur payment processing fees.
