Is the fee rate the same for small payments, such as 300 JPY?
Yes. The rate does not change for small payments. There is no minimum fee, so services that mainly handle small payments do not incur any additional cost.
Is the fee rate the same for large payments, such as 500,000 to 1,000,000 JPY?
Yes. The standard rate also applies to B2B transactions of 500,000 to 1,000,000 JPY per payment.
How much is the fee for card payments in currencies other than JPY (multi-currency)?
The transaction fee for card payments in currencies other than JPY (multi-currency payments) is 4.50% (3.25% for Visa / Mastercard transactions in JPY). Please check the following for supported currencies and eligible merchants.
Is consumption tax charged on transaction fees?
Consumption tax is charged in addition to the fee rate. If you are registered as an overseas merchant, no consumption tax is charged on transaction fees.
Features with No Additional Cost
- 3D Secure 2.0 (EMV 3-D Secure): Provided free of charge, with no additional cost.
- Fraud detection system: A fraud detection system that uses AI to check various parameters, such as IP address and payment method, is provided by default with no additional cost.
- Chargeback fee: There is no fee when a chargeback occurs.
Transaction Fees When You Issue a Refund
Transaction fees are not returned when you issue a refund. For transactions that have been completed and have the status "Captured", the transaction fee is still charged even if you process a refund later.
