How to Manage Inventory with the Payment Links Feature

While Payment Links do not directly support system-level inventory tracking (inventory management), you can use the "Advanced Settings" during creation to set sales limits and manage deadlines, which serves as an effective alternative to inventory management.

Important: When selling physical goods, merchants are generally required to manage their own inventory. If you want the system to automatically stop sales, you must configure the deactivation settings below. If these are not configured, the link will automatically accept payments indefinitely and without limits.

Steps to Automatically Deactivate a Link

You can specify the following conditions under "Advanced Settings" when creating a new link or editing an existing one.

  1. Set link usage limit (e.g., limited quantity sales)
    Check the "Set link usage limit" box and specify the maximum number in the "Enter usage limit" field. The link will automatically be deactivated (unable to accept payments) once the specified number of payments is completed.

    *Note: If payments have already occurred on the link, you must specify a number greater than or equal to the "current number of completed payments" (e.g., if 2 payments are already complete, enter 2 or more).
  2. Set expiration date (e.g., limited-time sales)
    Check the "Set expiration date" box and specify a particular date from the calendar via "Select a date". The link will automatically be deactivated once that date has passed.

Next Steps

Access Payment Links from the left menu of the KOMOJU dashboard and try applying the "Advanced Settings" when creating a new link or editing an existing one. You can check the real-time sales status (number of completed payments) for your products on the Transactions screen.
