Is there a fee when a chargeback occurs?
There is no fee when a chargeback occurs.
How are chargebacks handled when they occur?
When a chargeback occurs, KOMOJU sends a notification to the merchant. The merchant can dispute it by submitting evidence that the transaction was legitimate (proof of delivery, signature, logs, etc.).
We provide a chargeback management tool that lets you manage all chargebacks in one place and respond quickly.
How can I find out that a chargeback has occurred?
You can check chargebacks in the dashboard, receive notifications, and integrate with your order management system using the Chargeback API. For implementation details, please see the KOMOJU API Documentation.
If You Want to Restrict Debit or Prepaid Cards
As a general rule, we do not offer a feature that automatically identifies and declines cards by type (debit / prepaid).
If you are considering fraud prevention measures, please use 3D Secure 2.0 and the fraud detection system.
If You Find Orders Suspected of Card Testing
If you suspect fraudulent use (card testing), such as multiple orders in a short period, the same email domain, or matching last four digits of the card number, share the relevant payment IDs and other details with us, and we will review them and propose additional measures.
