KOMOJU supports recurring billing (subscriptions). You can also charge customers when they are not present (off-session charges) and charge amounts that change each time.
Recurring Billing (Subscriptions)
KOMOJU supports recurring billing. There are two main ways to set it up.
- Collect recurring payments with Payment Links (no development required)
- Save card details and charge at any time via the API
Charges when the customer is not present (off-session charges) are also supported, and you can set the billing date to suit your operations.
Services Where the Amount Changes Each Time (Usage-Based Billing)
KOMOJU also supports services where the final amount changes according to usage time, such as phone fortune-telling and online consultations.
You can set this up using either of the following methods.
- Save card details and charge the final amount after the service ends (off-session charge)
- Have customers purchase points in advance and consume them as they use the service
Prepaid Point Billing
The billing method itself, in which customers purchase points in advance and consume them as they use the service, is supported.
However, whether the sale of points falls under prohibited items (gift cards, stored value, etc.) is determined in the merchant review, together with your business details. For details, please see Checking Whether Your Products or Services Can Be Accepted (Decided Through Screening).
Handling Multiple Product Types (Such as Event Tickets)
You can separate payments by product type. By creating a Payment Link for each product, you can manage product types separately without any development.

Migrating Subscriptions from Another Provider
Due to security standards, KOMOJU is designed not to take over card details stored with other services. For how to migrate gradually by running both services in parallel, please see Using KOMOJU Alongside Other Payment Services and Switching from Other Providers.
Payout Cycle
If your lottery-sales or prepaid-point business needs "four or more payouts per month", you can achieve this by selecting weekly payouts. For details, please see Payout Cycle, Transfer Fees, and Minimum Payout Amount for Sales Proceeds.
