Payment links let you create a link and QR code just by entering an amount, then share it with your customer. This feature is available for online store accounts and does not appear for in-person (physical store) accounts.
Which Accounts Can Use This Feature
Payment links are available for online store accounts. For in-person (physical store) accounts, the "Payment Links" tab does not appear. To accept payments at a physical store, use Code Payments instead.
Quickly Creating a Payment Link
On iOS, tap "+" on the "Payment Links" tab; on Android, tap the "Create" button in the center of the screen to begin.
Enter the amount (Japanese yen only).
A title is optional. If you leave it blank, your store name and the date/time are entered automatically. Tap "Create Link and QR Code" to finish.
Sharing a Created Link
Once created, you can share the payment link with your customer in the following ways:
- "Share Link": send it via LINE, Instagram, email, and other apps
- "Share QR Code": share the QR code as an image
- Display the QR code on screen for your customer to scan directly
On iOS, the QR code screen displays a reminder: "Be sure to also share your Specified Commercial Transactions Act page." For more on this notice, see "About App Features and Settings."
When a payment is completed, you will be notified with a push notification. See "About App Features and Settings" for details.
Viewing Your List of Links and Their Details
The link list shows the active/inactive status, title, creation date and time, payment frequency, expiration date, and payment limit. On Android, you can search by title and filter by status or frequency.
Turning a Link On or Off
Use the toggle on the details screen to turn a link on (active) or off (inactive). Expired links cannot be toggled.
Editing a Created Link
On iOS
You can edit the title, description, and product image (up to 10MB, PNG/JPG). The amount cannot be changed after creation.
On Android
The only thing you can change in the app is whether the link is active or inactive. Any other edits are done on the web, via options such as "Customize this payment link" on the details screen.
