You can apply under the name of an overseas corporation or sole proprietor. In addition, even if your representative lives overseas or is a foreign national, you can sign a contract as a Japanese corporation.
Applying as an Overseas Business
You can apply under the name of an overseas sole proprietor or corporation. We have many direct contracts with overseas corporations, including in the United States, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Ireland.
The following 3 documents are required.
- An official document confirming that your corporation or sole proprietorship is registered in your country
- An identity document of the representative or applicant (depending on the payment methods you apply for, identity documents of the beneficial owner are also required)
- A bank account statement (a document issued by the bank that shows the account number, account holder name, and account holder address)
Can I use an account certificate issued by a non-bank provider, such as Payoneer?
Account certificates issued by non-bank providers (such as Payoneer) are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please submit it with your application, and our review team will check it.
