Why does it show as "Expired"?
This is due to Shopify’s system specifications. Shopify sets a 72-hour deadline for orders that are awaiting payment. Therefore, once 72 hours have passed since the order was placed, the status automatically changes to "Expired" regardless of the actual payment deadline.
Three Important Points
Please note the following when using Shopify:
- The status displayed on Shopify is unrelated to the payment deadline set in KOMOJU. Shopify’s status display is not linked to the actual payment deadline.
- Payment is possible until the deadline set in KOMOJU. Customers are notified of the payment deadline configured in KOMOJU. As long as payment is made within that period, it will be processed without issue.
- The Shopify status display cannot be changed. This is governed by Shopify’s rules, and KOMOJU cannot modify how the deadline is displayed.
How the Status Is Updated After Payment
If a customer completes payment within the deadline set in KOMOJU, the process proceeds as follows:
- The customer makes the payment via convenience store, bank transfer, or another available method.
- KOMOJU confirms the payment and updates the status to "Captured."
- The data is synchronized with Shopify, and the status automatically changes to "Paid."
- The merchant confirms the updated status.
- The merchant proceeds with necessary actions such as shipping the product.
※Payment will only become unavailable if the customer does not complete payment by the specified deadline.
